Susan Meachen is was is an author who committed suicide. Except she didn't. Instead, she faked it because [reasons]. But, now she's back, some of her fans feel betrayed that she she didn't actually go through with it. And with fans like that, who needs enemies?

Describing Meachen as an author may be a bit of a misnomer. According to the BBC's very own Chelsea Bailey, she's an indie romance author. I think indie is a euphemism for self- or vanity-publishing, which generally translates as not very good.

Susan Meachen's shocking and abrupt revival has left her online community stunned and angry. "To me it's something that happens in fiction," said Ms Cole. "I will never be able to completely wrap my brain around whatever she might have been thinking because people just don't do this."
