Modi operandi
The BBC finds itself in a little spat with the Indian government, after a documentary painted the country's prime minister, Narendra Modi, in a none too flattering light.
But Gaurav Bhatia, a spokesman from Mr Modi's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), described the BBC as the "most corrupt organisation in the world"

As much as I rag on the world's most trusted international news broadcaster
™, I wouldn't go so far as to say the organisation is corrupt, let alone the most corrupt in the world. From what I can tell, the Indian government is a stronger contender for that particular title.
The BBC may be sloppy, even incompetent at times. Politically biased, undoubtedly. I'd even say that it's bigoted against heteronormative Anglo-Saxons.
But corrupt? That would take more guile than it could muster.
