Will this madness never end?

Secret password

I finally got access to the LAN and Roomz. Except, not quite. Of course, the password for Roomz is not synchronised with the company's single sign-on, because that would make things too easy. Roomz requires a password to be set separately, with its own specific requirements.

So I have no idea what's wrong here. All I have to do is read the mind of the cretin who devised the authentication rules. Or just give up.

Roomz password error
This password is the same as my SSO password to MegaCorpCH's LAN, and reflects my thoughts on the company's IT security policy. It's easy enough for me to both remember and adapt for the quarterly reset.

Presumably, Roomz has a blacklist of words that cannot be used, as does MegaCorpCH for its LAN, although the blacklists are obviously different. And, like MegaCorpCH, Roomz neither makes that clear in the password authentication error notice, nor gives any indication as to where the list might be found. Users are just expected to know this stuff.

I don't understand the point of applying a blacklist without letting users in on the secret. But I guess that the rules are set by IT morons who're operating well outside their IQ security zone.
