I think I've pissed myself

Nothing like the real thing

Apparently, you can't believe all that you read on the label. Clothing labels that is. Because fabric fraud is a thing.

Kelly Oakes' article for BBC Future wasn't interesting enough for me to get much past the fourth paragraph. Nevertheless, in that short time I learnt that Egyptian cotton may not be Egyptian; Vietnamese silk may come from China; and that Indian organic cotton may not actually be organic.

But, best of all, three British retailers had to remove faux fur products from their shelves in 2018…because they weren't really faux. (LOLZ)

The faux faux fur came from rabbits and mink farmed under inhumane conditions in China, Poland, and elsehere. It's cheaper than faking it.
