Having been invited to attend conferences on subjects as varied and wide-ranging as gynaecology, nanomaterials, and 3D printing, I was wondering how long it take for my expertise in the field of robotics to be acknowledged. And I need wonder no more, for I've been invited speak at [deep breath] Global Summit and Expo on Robotics, Control and Automation Engineering GRCA conference. Known by the cognoscenti as Robotics 2023.
According to Google, USF Robotics is the University of South Florida's Center for Assistive, Rehabilitation & Robotics Technologies…or is it? The conference is being held in Tokyo. So, naturally, Charan Teja's mail comes from India. It all makes perfect sense.

, as in Charan Teja's signature, returns the University of South Florida as the first seven hits, searching for sci-confcongress.biz returns United Scientific Forum/USF Conferences, an altogether less reputable outfit actually located in—wait for it—Hyderabad, India. Quelle surprise!
USF Robotics Conference appears in eighth position on the list of search results. And it is they who're disorganising Robotics 2023:

It's reassuring that the organisers embrace all diversity of race, colour, religion, and gender, although they've no interest in gender identity, which is probably why they waited until after Pride month was over before soliciting attendees. Attendees who may be diverse, but who must have one characteristic in common: gullibility.
