Another day...
News of another US school shooting, this time in St Louis, MO, in which only
three people—including the gunman—died, is most remarkable for this factette:
Data from the Education Week outlet show there have been at least 35 school shootings, in which at least one person was killed or injured, so far this year.
That's at least thirty-five people dead or injured due to gunfire, in schools alone, in less than ten months. And most of them weren't newsworthy enough to draw to our attention. Not that we need to be informed every time an armed merkan loony goes postal, we'd read of nothing else, but all the same…(shrug)
