Despite the hype, Marvel Studio's Eternals has received generally mixed-to-underwhelming reviews from the usually compliant Disney shills critics in the mainstream media. The Eternals aren't A-list characters, and the film isn't hotly anticipated.
Some cinema goers will want to see it simply because duh MCU!
Nevertheless, a US box office success is not assured.
Still, there's always the Chinese box office for Disney to look forward to…oh!
The film's director, Chloé Zhao, famously dumped on China big time. The chances of a release in President Pooh's fetid shithole are not considered to be high.
