This is my truth

Joining the lunatics

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson's appointment to the US Supreme Court fulfils President 'Pa's campaign pledge to put a black woman on the court. Consideration of the most suitable candidate is irrelevant. He just needed a black woman, presumably one with some legal experience. And preferably one who was on the giving, rather than the receiving, end of the justice system.

It doesn't seem to matter that she cannot define a woman. After all, she's not a biologist, so how can she be expected to know? I wonder if she can define black, or African American, as a race? What with her not being an anthropologist or ethnologist an' all that. But wouldn't it be nice if she was cognisant of at least one of the criteria underlying her nomination? (thinking)

Anyhow, in a world in which lunatics can be whatever they feel they are, because gender is a social construct, why should that stop at gender? What about race as a social construct?

White privilege is so overrated, especially heterosexual, male, white privilege. I've seen Showboat, so I'm channelling my inner Negro. YAS BAAHS!
