The most obvious Star Trek story ever

list or best ever
selection is bound to be wreathed in subjectivity. Especially when considering such a long-running TV show as Star Trek and its spawn.
I only watched the classic '60s series and Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), but even then there's a lot to choose from. With the exception of Star Trek: The Motion Picture, that is.
The inevitable bait-and-switch was to tone down the hyperbole on the BBC's home page, from the greatest
episode to the most remarkable
one.
But enlightenment only awaited the lead: it has never been bolder than when it travelled back to 1950s America and tackled anti-black racism head on.
I wonder if the author, David Jesudason, is black, by any chance? (thinking)

Someone among the BBC's editorial staff may have considered the home page bait to be too misleading, even for their standards.
