Another day, another US shooting with enough dead to warrant the international news.
In a country where gun slayings are pretty much an everyday occurrence, a gunman in Thousand Oaks, California, killed eleven before offing himself. The shooting, at the Borderline Bar and Grill, occurred during a college country music night. Apparently, the Wednesday night country music event is popular with local university students
and, at the time of reporting, officials do not yet know his motive for the shooting
