Is this addiction?
A Chinese guy reportedly died after a three-day online gaming session, during which he neither ate nor slept. In the month before his death, he spent almost £1000 on gaming. This was all done at an internet café, rather than his own home, so it makes you question their hygiene standards. After all, he must have positively reeked.
It was this bit that particularly got me thinking though:
online games - which can involve multiple users role-playing in a virtual world - are particularly popular with young men.
But they're not real men, are they? Real men are out drinking more alcohol than is advisable, fighting other real men, and getting women pregnant; not pissing around on the internet like sad old losers.
Oh, hang on a minute…(embarrassed)
