What's that smell?

A second anchi!

After thinking that I could replace both of my road and off-road bikes with just one new bike, I've decided to buy a new XC bike. It's also a Bianchi, a Methanol 29.3 FS to be exact. I'm such a tart.

It's not as pretty as the Infinito CV. But it's still quite attractive, in a rufty-tufty stylee.

The bike comes in three choices of build, or a frame with top-end rear shock only. I had thought of buying the frame alone, and then building it to my own specification with my choice of components. Like I'd have a clue as to how to do that! Dream on, fatboy.*

Then I realised that the bottom-of-the-range full build was pretty much the same price as the frame alone. And I thought about the reality of building a bike from bare components. So, I decided to take the easy way out.

Faint heart ne'er won fair lady. But the lazy bugger gets to go out and play sooner.

* That's me, not you, dear reader.
