Send in the clown

Is there an embalmer in the House?

US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan is not being met with great enthusiasm among the sabre-rattling shitheads of the island's north-west dominion.

Foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said China had been in communication with the US about sensitivity of the visit. "The US side will bear the responsibility and pay the price for undermining China's sovereign security interests," she said.

For its part, the US government isn't in favour of Pelosi's visit either. Even the country's Grandpa-in-Chief has voiced the opinion of the US military that it's not a good idea right now, and he hasn't got a fucking clue most of the time. Presumably the US taxpayer is footing the bill anyway.

All of which has to beg the question: in whose service is she doing this, and who pays the clown? (clown)

After Pelosi was caught out busting California's pandemic restrictions by not wearing a Chongmask in a hair salon, comedian Ryan Long wryly observed: Either she's a hypocrite, or I'm a moron. And I'm pretty sure she's not a hypocrite.
