Zits and tits
YouTube has added a new category of videos to its home page, called Shorts. These are not only short, but vertically-framed, which makes me think that they were originally created for TikTok. The intellectual standard certainly supports this assumption.
Perhaps YouTube's trying to get down wit' da kidz. Or something.
Anyhow, the thumbnail images generally highlight either variably attractive young women or gross-out bodily extrusions: earwax; popping massive acne pustules, that sort of shit. Most of them are too improbable not to have been staged.
It just makes me realise how little I've missed by not having a TikTok account. As if It'sAGundam hadn't made that clear enough already.
