Disrespecting the departed
Kurt Cobain railed against the mundanity of, among other things, the corporate music scene. The label classic rock
—insinuating brain-in-neutral listening—would, I imagine, have been an anathema to him.
Perhaps he might've mellowed in the intervening three decades since his passing. Who knows? Otherwise, I can't imagine that he'd be too thrilled by this.
