It's all gone to shit

Grandchildren endangered

BBC Headline: A social media murder: Olly’s story
Not BBC Panorama: A previous article based on a BBC Scotland Disclosure programme was attributed to BBC Disclosure.

Following the murder of 13-year-old Olly Stephens in January last year, Marianna Spring examines the influence of social media in his death. From her investigations for the BBC's Panorama programme, it appears that F*c*book, Instagram, and Youtube did not moderate the display of inappropriate content to an underaged child's account, while TikTok and Snapchat did.

On the other hand, I'm convinced that it's because my zoomer daughters spend too much time on TikTok and Snapchat, that they both think they might be lesbians.

So, there you have it, parents. Murder or alphabet soup: either way, social media will screw your chances of grandparenthood. (pipe)
