The citizens of Kraków, Poland, can sleep peacefully in their beds once again.
KTOZ, the Kraków Animal Welfare Society, attending to a report of an usual animal lurking in a tree, have identified the creature as…a croissant. Although far from its natural piekarnia habitat, it's thought to have been tossed out of a neighbouring window rather than having flown into, or climbed, the tree itself.
Rumours that it was lured down from its eyrie with butter and strawberry jam have been entirely fabricated by me, and start here!
