Bitches bitch'n'

Inside out

Once again, I feel mean for nitpicking on BBC journalism. But when, on the same day, you claim to be the world's most trusted international news broadcaster, you've gotta get shit right.

A gang of Milanese burglers have been targeting celebrities through Instagram, scaling buildings to reach their points of entry. According to the BBC's report:

CCTV footage from December released by police shows one man scaling an apartment building, while an accomplice stays below and keeps watch. Prosecutor Francesca Crupi told reporters that two other accomplices were waiting inside the apartment.

This genuinely puzzled me—I was feeling a little groggy this morning—why on earth scale a building if you already have accomplices on the inside? Of course, the answer's simple:

“He put on latex gloves and quickly climbed up a pole and towards a window on the first floor, forced it open and entered the home,” the Milan prosecutor Francesca Crupi said. The thief then opened the front door of the home to the other two accomplices, and together they stuffed their loot into a suitcase owned by the victim before fleeing.

Inside, outside; it's all the same to the world's most trusted international news broadcaster. Silly me.
