The ramblings of a pseudointellectal…or a genuine idiot?

Ouch!

Reporting for BBC Ouch, Drew Miller Hyndman relates the story of Sweet Anita, a Twitch gamer with Tourette's syndrome. Anita has coprolalia, which makes sufferers involuntarily say offensive things, like swearing. Twitch has been very understanding, which means that Anita is the only white person on the platform who can say nigger without getting their sorry arse roasted and banned to hell.

Being the wrong side of 50, I simply don't understand the interest in watching someone else play video games. Then again, I've never been interested in traditional spectator sports either. I guess that this is just a technological extension of something that's just boring in my opinion.

The real point of this post was to observe that, while BBC News is subdivided into numerous subtopics and specialities—Business, Technology, Monitoring, Trending etc.—BBC Ouch has no meaning. It's scraping the worthless from the bottom of the barrel. The BBC obviously has too much money.

Ouch, indeed. (SMH)
