Just another four years...
Ninety-six year-old Queen Betty is under medical supervision at her Scottish retreat. The leader of the opposition Labour Party, Sir Keir Starmer, is deeply worried
about the aged birth-giver, which must be alarming for all who're close to her.
The question on everyone's mind though, is whether she'll pull through long enough to send herself a congratulatory telegram on her 100th birthday.
My opinion of Starmer is that he's an arse and talks utter bollocks. But he's a lawyer as well as a politician, so it's not unexpected.
Starmer's deep worry clearly upset the Queen so much that she couldn't get over it. The man should be flogged for treason. Or just flogged for the hell of it.
Ironically enough, as I write this I'm sitting in Terminal 2 at London Heathrow Airport. When rebuilt, it was renamed in honour of Her Majesty as The Queen's Terminal. How prescient for the current moment.
