The Matrix Resuscitated

This still from The Matrix Resurrections is pretty much the most inspiring part of Barber's review; that is not an indictment of it though.

In his three-star review of The Matrix Resurrections, Nicholas Barber dams the trilogy's fourth instalment with the faintest praise.

…much of The Matrix Resurrections is numbingly familiar. True, the sunglasses have been updated, and the characters now have more tattoos, but those are the most significant advances.

Personally, I thought the original trilogy would've been better as a less open-ended single film. But I may watch this, if it comes to a streaming service that I'm already paying for.

Having just watched it, its like a love letter to the fans, written by a deranged phychopath who has killed your love and is wearing their skin as they write.
