Biden his time
US president Joe Biden has declared his hope that 4th July will mark some return to normality from the pandemic.
"If we do this together, by 4 July, there is a good chance you, your family and friends can get together in your backyard or in your neighbourhood and have a cookout or a barbecue and celebrate Independence Day," Mr Biden said. He predicted that the country would be able to not only celebrate Independence Day but also "independence from this virus".
Of course, it depends on how you define normality
. Nevertheless, that's just sixteen weeks to confirm whether or not Biden is the deluded moron that I think he is. I can wait.
