Most of it's boring

It must be Thanksgiving

To celebrate Thanksgiving, BBC Food asks me How much do you know about American food? And presents a handy-dandy little quiz, to check whether I'm lying or not.

Until now, I was under the impression that all that I knew of American food, from personal acquaintance, is that the bread's shit; the meat's pumped full of broth; Americans have a predilection for high-fructose corn syrup; and TV dinners are to be tried once only, for the experience, never to be repeated.

Then again, the longest period that I've spent in the US was three millennia months in Michigan…during the winter. When people talk of a special place in hell, that's exactly what they're referring to.

Anyhow, I scored 7/10. Wahey! Now, pass the insulin.

Personally, I'll be giving thanks for the fact that my US-based micromanager will be out of the office for two days this week.
