A test of oldness
If someone asks you for your age when you're young, you respond immediately, almost without thinking.
You know that you're getting old when the same question provokes a mental Q&A session. What year is it now? What year was I born? Have I had my birthday yet? Followed by the mental mathematics. This last step is all the trickier if the last digit in the current year is lower than that in your birth year.
