Their strategy is to use nonviolent civil resistance: tactics such as strikes, boycotts, mass protests and disruption to withdraw their cooperation from the state.
And they've been protesting by, among other things, tying themselves to goalposts to disrupt major league soccer matches. Naturally, this has endeared them enormously to the attending supporters, who've been left with a great appreciation for their cause. (no)
