Punching the air
Herself was watching Air Force One on TV last night. Shit, I'd forgotton how bad that film was. But the scenes at the end where all the backroom boys
show how happy they are, by jumping around and punching the air, was indeed most risible.
A bit like the ending to Under Siege.
Why is it that boring old farts in films have to show elation by punching the air in a most gay and embarrassing manner? What's wrong with just a polite round of applause and a bloody good show
