Will this madness never end?

My precious articles

Another request for my valuable submission. My money research work is highly prized among the pondlife publishing community, who're obviously not wasting their income on translation services. Anyhow, I'm posting this here simply because it's short and funny; unlike Melissa McCarthy, who at 5′2″ (1.57m) can only lay claim to being short.

According to Jessica Williams, Without women there is nothing in our life! That's an assertion that's open to discussion, although she probably has a vested interest. But that aside, it sounds more like a charity fundraiser, or a line from The Stylistics, than a request for submission to a scientific journal.

As to my valuable submission of my precious articles, I'll have to decline. I'd be mortified if the ensuing immunity boost triggered the formation of blood clots among the readership.

Respected Doctor, Good morning! Women also need health care more and access the health care system more than men do. Without women there is nothing in our life. So, Our OAJBS is planning to release Special Issue on WOMEN HEALTH. So, we hearty Welcome eminent people like you to support with your precious articles which gives immunity boost for every new researcher and our readers to know more about women health. submission link for your eminent work https://biomedscis.com/submit-manuscript.php NOTE: we also accept COVID-19 articles. Hope you succor us with your valuable submission. Regards Jessica Williams Open Access Journal of Biomedical Science ISSN: 2690-487X | ISI Impact Factor: 0.452

Come, hungry address scrapers, and feed on gynecology@biomedscis.org

Well, well, well, this is an unexpected displeasure. I'd completely forgotten about Jessica Williams and Open Access Journal of Biomedical Science, but it seems that her memory's much keener than mine. Apparently, she'd expected a reply when she mailed last time; as far as I'm aware though, the actual last time, as opposed to her template's false follow-up bullshit, was two years ago.

Interestingly enough—although I may be reading too much into the actions of Indian pondlife—then she wrote from gynecology@biomedscis.org requesting articles relating to women's health; now, she's writing from microbiology@biomedscis.info. For what? Articles on bugs?

Now she's after articles for our released Volume 5 Issue 4, which is puzzling. If it's already been released, how on earth can my scientific knowledge be shared within it? (confused)

Incidentally, OAJBS claims that the article processing fee covers manuscript peer-reviewing, formatting of an article, editing an article, publishing, archiving, DOI and other maintenance costs. In my experience, peer reviewers are never compensated financially for their services, and DOI costs are a nebulous bullshit cost. It all sounds distinctly skeevy to me.

Usual schtick: Jessica claims a US address, but the Outlook mail server and message language settings betray an entirely different locale. Let's see if we can get behind that campaign server's time zone setting though.

Dear Jessica Williams, If volume 5 issue 4 has been released, as you state, are you now collecting articles for volume 5 issue 5? Sincerely,

Sadly, she didn't let her guard down regarding her actual time zone. But she did reveal a penchant for Comic Sans. (SMH)
