Web of Science is a pay-to-use platform for accessing reference and citation databases on academic journals and the like. It's owned by Clarivate—formally the Intellectual Property and Science business of Thomson Reuters—which also owns Institute for Scientific Information (ISI). ISI published a long-established list of revered journal impact factors.
Earlier this year, I was contacted by American Journal of Biomedical Science & Research, a webcomic claiming to have an ISI
impact factor. It appears, however, that their ISI is not the ISI, being instead International Scientific Indexing.
And now it's the turn of Medicine and Medical Sciences. They also claim an ISI
impact factor. But this ISI is neither Institute for Scientific Information, nor even International Scientific Indexing. No, this ISI is Intellect Scientific Information. And it operates its own database of citations and references, called World of Science. Another ISI with another WoS, a cynic might grow suspicious!
From World of Science one can Get Access to more than 234,000, 000 journals from multiply databases

World of Science is an online subscription-based scientific citation indexing service originally produced by the Intellect Scientific Information (ISI). World of Science provides a comprehensive citation search. It gives access to multiple databases that reference cross-disciplinary research, which allows for in-depth exploration of specialized sub-fields within an academic discipline.

At first I thought it remarkable that Bryan Christiansen's missive isn't, unlike most predatory publishers' solicitations, even directed at me personally. I'm on a BCC list. The recipient's address is the same as the sender's. Oddly enough, it's repeated on the CC list, which really didn't need to be included. (confused)
Then I searched academia publishing
on this site. The address headers are those used by Medicine and Medical Sciences, but inverted. And it appears that JBEM is using MMS's email address to accept submissions! (LOL)
Other than that, everything I said about MMS's impact factors naturally applies to JBEM.
