Will this madness never end?

No shits given: Just a feeble excuse to post a magnificent publicity photo.

The Edinburgh Fringe has for decades been a bastion of cutting-edge, often raw comedy. This is where comedians go to try out their wildest, newest material, and where grown-ups go to be shocked as well as entertained. Snowflakes should look elsewhere.

Jerry Sadowitz is definitely one of the more controversial comedians to appear at the Fringe. Several times, in fact, so people should really know what they're getting themselves into.

Sadowitz was to perform two shows at The Pleasance for the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, but the second was cancelled by the venue's management after a large number of people walked out of the show as they felt uncomfortable and unsafe to remain in the venue. (snowflake)

Uncomfortable and unsafe? In the face of undoubtedly offensive jokes told by a 61-year-old professional comedian…who also exposed himself to the audience? The venue had even included a warning on its listing for the show FFS!

But, rather than keeping with its policy of not censoring its comedians, The Pleasance did just that. So stunning, much brave. (slowhandclap)

There's some confusion as to whether the offended were among the audience, who apparently did not walk out, or the venue's staff, who couldn't.

Sadowitz was once punched by an audience member at the Montreal comedy festival, for coming on stage with a jaunty: Hello moose-fuckers. You know what I hate about this country? Half of you speak French and the other half let them. But it's not an unreasonable observation, really it isn't.
