I think I've soiled myself

Labour vs delivery

The subject line of Gretta Collins' missive is a close, but no cigar in terms of comprehension, but I'll spare you a blow-by-blow critique. The real issue is that I'm not sure what Labor and Delivery refers to.

I don't think that it's the title of the journal, that seems to be Obstetrics and Gynecology Reports. And, while labour and delivery are among its subject areas, there are also others.

Perhaps labour and delivery is a special subject issue, in which case I might have something for them. One of the roads to our local railway station has been closed for months for repairs. It has recently been reopened, with no perceivable improvement. In fact, it looks worse. Labour, yes; delivery, no.

The fact that Gretta and Alex have given me three weeks over the holiday period means that not only can I turn this into a manuscript, but I'll also have some time with my family at Christmas. (thumbup)
