Everyday thoughts, but not every day

CS:CH

One of the appliances in my pied-à-terre has gone on the blink. After almost a week, the service company has deigned to send an engineer to look at it tomorrow. FWP, eh?

I've just received the confirmation SMS, which includes the following note on coronavirus: Unsere Mitarbeiter halten sich an die gültigen Hygiene- und Verhaltensregeln des Bundesamtes für Gesundheit (BAG). Danke, dass auch Sie sich daran halten.

So, they're thanking me for adhering to the Federal Office of Public Health's rules on hygiene and behaviour, but neither tell me what the relevant rules are, nor supply a link to same; as if I'm supposed to know this stuff. Of course, this is an automatically-generated message from a no-reply account. They work out-of-office hours. (rolleyes)

Well, I'm happy not to shake hands, kiss, or get closer than two metres. But if they think I'm gonna wear a Chongmask in my own home, he can turn around and go straight to his next appointment.

Customer service: Swiss style.

He wore a mask and I didn't. So I'm still none the wiser. (shrug)

But at least I'm not sure that the problem's been properly fixed. (confused)
