Iron Giant is bestester
Internet dweebs have mocked the BBC, after a tweet by BBC Sport from the Tokyo Olympics confused a Gundam statue with a Transformer.
Obviously, a Gundam is not a Transformer, and the tweet has since received over 500 replies and 2,000 quote-retweets reminding the BBC of the many differences between a mobile suit and a citizen of Cybertron.

Normally, I'm happy to rag on the BBC's editorial sloppiness and journalist naivety. Indeed, I have a post tag just for that very purpose. But not this time. For me, and I suspect many others, the difference between a Transformer and a Gundam is no more meaningful than that between two shades of beige.
They're both giant robots. Whatever.
