Phoenix knights
The US Department of Justice has released a report accusing Phoenix police of a range of civil rights violations against black, Hispanic, and native American citizens, dating back to 2016.
The Phoenix Police Department is studying the report, but the local police officers' union has already challenged the veracity of the accusations held within, some of which are extraordinarily disturbing. Others are quite funny, if your sense of humour is twisted enough.
Such as the case of an apparently suicidal woman who'd pulled a firearm and was shot ten times by officers. She later died of her injuries. Police are accused of not immediately rendering aid, but they were only trying to help her achieve her goal.
Or the case in which police shot a man, then sent a police dog to drag him to them. Presumably, actually walking over to him themselves would've infringed on their doughnut scoffing.
