Trust me, I'm my wife
A Covid-positive Indonesian man boarded an internal flight disguised as his wife, carrying her passport and negative test result. He was caught mid-air after he changed from his disguise, which included a full-face veil, into his own clothes. Idiot.
Police told reporters that the man was detained after the plane landed and was tested immediately. Upon discovering he was positive for the virus, he was ordered to self-isolate at home. Police say they will move to prosecute him as soon as his quarantine ends.
So why not quarantine him in a police cell? Given that he deliberately tried to circumvent whatever restrictions Indonesia has in place, can he really be trusted?
Or perhaps he's not the only idiot in this story. (thinking)
