What's that smell?

If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck, and...

Sepp Blatter, the beleaguered president of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), has been defended against accusations of corruption. His defence was launched by his daughter, Corinne Blatter. Daddy's girl, bless.

Apparently he's not corrupt, he's the victim of a conspiracy.

This is the same Sepp Blatter who was aware of corruption and vowed governance reform, yet rejected the public disclosure of a report of an investigation into rigging of the 2018 and 2022 World Cup tournaments.

That suggests that he's either corrupt or incompetent. And Corinne Blatter says he's not corrupt, so that's okay then.

But there are plenty of bucks floating around FIFA, many of them wadded tightly into envelopes. One of them must surely stop at the top?
