Naughty Nigerians (again)
There was something about the daum.net domain name in Dr Cardoso's email address that rang a bell. And, sure enough, here we are!
What really struck me was the fact that he pretends to be contacting me from the Central Bank of Nigeria, yet warns me that one of the fake offices that have been scamming people, and that I am instructed to cease communicating with, is…Central Bank of Nigeria. (confused)

. I believe some people are quite sensitive to being incorrectly saluted; particularly in Nigeria, since they have to bribe so many officials for the privilege. (whatever)

Dear Mr Cardoso, Thank you for your kind message. It is reassuring to know that there are at least some honest and upstanding officials working hard to protect the interests of innocent citizens! I note that you included the CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA among the fake offices being used for scam activities. But the RFC is part of the Central Bank of Nigeria. I am concerned about the implications of this. What part of the Central Bank of Nigeria is fake, and what is not? Regarding the information that you have requested, are you certain that you have everything you need to steal my identity? Or is there anything else you need to defraud me? If Dr Cardoso was offended at my mistake, he hides it well.
It was the previous bank, led by the old governor, that was the problem. The new governor is, according to Dr Cardoso, very honest and sincere
. He also appears to be Dr Cardoso, who signs himself off as such. But I know I can trust him, because he's very honest and sincere; he reassured me so.
Just one other point of concern, though. He's labouring under the misconception that Nigeria has an image that could be tarnished. I think its royal family's slew of princes saw to that, years ago.
