The editorial executive at Research Trends appears to be one of those folks who feel the need to obfuscate their corresponding email address—editor@researchtrends.net—in their messages, by substituting the @ with (at). As I've noted before, I don't think this is necessary; AFAIK email harvesting bots, the type used by suppliers of scraped lists to predatory publishers like Research Trends (P) Ltd, don't scrape email contents. I may be wrong though.

Strangely enough, the unobfuscated address is given on their contact page. Go figure! (shrug)

Research Trends shits out PDF webcomics in a host of subject areas covering: Agricultural Sciences; Chemistry and Chemical Engineering; Earth and Planetary Sciences; Engineering and Technology; Life Sciences; Medical Sciences; Physics and Astrophysics, so I can look forward to quite a diversity of solicitations coming my way. Oh goody!
