I think I've pissed myself

Eminent me

I've mentioned low-energy spam from predatory publishers before. If you want someone to give you money for old rope, you might as well help them to understand why your rope is better for them than anyone else's. But that seems to be too much for some publishing pondlife.

Dear Dr. Researcher, Hope you are doing well during this pandemic situation. We are in need of articles for successful release of Volume 4 Issue 2? Is it possible for you to support us with your 2 page opinion/case report or mini review, we hope 2 page article isn't time taken for eminent people like you. We hope you won't disappoint us. Acknowledge this email within 24hrs. Jessica Munn Managing Editor Crimson Publishers | Investigations in Gynecology Research & Womens Health | ISSN: 2577-2015 | To unsubscribe to our emails. Leaving aside the poor English—after all, freebie automated translation services can only do so much—eminent people like me simply don't have the time to guess why we should be interested in their successful release. We have a pandemic situation here, after all. And it's not as if Managing Shithead even took the time to personalise her begging email in any way.

But, at least I found the time to acquiesce to one of her requests.

Dear Jessica Munn, As requested, I acknowledge your email within 24hrs. Eminent person.

I feel so much better about myself now.

Another thing that bugs me with this is the offer to unsubscribe from something that I never subscribed to in the first place. Ne'ermind, I shall assuage my annoyance by feeding those voracious scrapers: gynecology@crimsonscientifics.net

It's been a long time since I last heard from Jessica Munn, managing editor at Investigations in Gynecology Research & Womens Health [sic]. I'm just lucky, I guess. Still, all good things must come to an end. (shrug)

Last time, she reached out from gynecology@crimsonscientifics.net. This time it's from gynecology@crimsonpublisher.com, even though the company is Crimson Publishers! (confused)

The lack of competence and professionalism is most risible.

At least she hasn't requested an acknowledgement of her email this time. So, I won't.

Dear Dr. Researcher, Hope you are doing well during this pandemic situation. Can we have your article for successful release of Volume 4 Issue 4 in our Journal of Investigations in Gynecology Research & Womens Health? We are confident that you are always will be there to support us. Awaiting your response. Jess's returned. This time, she's promising an improvement in my article quality. But she doesn't indicate how that's supposed to happen. I'm tempted to ask her what it means, or why anyone who wasn't interested wouldn't just block her, but I know that she has no answers to these questions.

But at least her From mailer shows the correct domain for the publisher. So the bitch is making some progress.

Hardly original, I know, but the last time I threw this her way was almost a year ago. So I doubt that she remembers.

Dear Jessica Munn, As requested, I acknowledge your email within 24hrs. Eminent person.

It appears that she didn't remember. But at least she acknowledged my acknowledgement this time. And either she's as sarcastic as me, or the dumb bitch's gonna have a long and ultimately disappointing wait. (devil)

Thank you for your response. We will be waiting to hear your positive gesture. Have a Great Weekend!! Sincerely, Jessica Munn Investigations in Gynecology Research & Womens Health | ISSN: 2577-2015 |
