BBC headline: UK gets first new-style pylons in a century
Quite the slow news day.

So, you're the world's most trusted international news broadcaster™, and you have a ground-breaking story on the rejuvenation of the UK's electricity distribution network. At least in terms of the design of that part keeping the cables off the ground.

Now, under which category would you file it: UK, Business, Tech? Clearly, not under Science, because that would be…oh!

This story has more to do with business or technology than anything else. So, you'd give it to one of your crack team of business or technology reporters…oh!

Oh sod it, it doesn't really have anything to do with climate, but we'll give it to the Climate Editor anyway. Let's not file it under Climate though, because it doesn't have anything to do with climate. No one will notice, so job's a good 'un. (thumbup)

The closest this article comes to science, is the final paragraph:

But birds are not electrocuted, because they are not touching the ground, so the electricity stays in the power line.

Justin Rowlatt, Climate Editor, BBC News

Which isn't very close at all, really.
