The drains have backed up again

I died laughing. Not.

Samantha Bee is a comedienne, apparently. She has a late night comedy show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, that's watched by tens of people. Or, rather, she had a show, since it's been cancelled due to lack of interest.

Matt Walsh claims that Bee is not funny. But this is just his opinion. And that of the majority of the US viewing population, it seems. But it is still just opinion. There may be some among those tens who find Bee to be uproariously hilarious. It takes all sorts, after all. (shrug)

Anyhow, there have in the past been reports of people literally dying of laughter. Most notably in 1975, when Alex Mitchell laughed so hard while watching an episode of The Goodies, that he died from heart failure.

It's not impossible that a similar fate could befall one of Bee's hapless viewers. It may have had already happened, and gone unrecognised due to its inconceivability. In this context, the cancellation of her show should be seen as an advancement in public health protection, to be accompanied by an uptick in the survival statistics.

And, let's face it, who wants died watching Samantha Bee inscribed on their tombstone?

Some have said that TBS could replace its Full Frontal revenue just by holding, like, a yard sale once a month.

But she could have been funny, one day. I believed in her. I was watching and rooting for her. Well I wasn't watching, nobody was, but I was rooting.

Savage! (LMAO)
