BBC Worklife: Why it's OK to let friendships fade outWriting for BBC Worklife, Bryan Lufkin explains why it's okay to not reignite relationships that have stagnated during lockdown. You can let acquaintanceships and friendships go, should you wish.

That's a huge relief, Bryan. Good to know, thanks! But, did it really need to be said or, rather, written? Has anyone, who's spent more than a few years on this planet, not let the odd friendship go? Leaving school; college; or a place of work, moving on is part-and-parcel of life. Post-lockdown emergence need be no different, albeit with a possibly greater chance of bumping into those that you've cast adrift from your Christmas card list.

I realise that Lufkin describes himself as only a features writer, but there are some features that really don't need to be written, even for money. At least not if you don't want to look like a bloody idiot.

And, no, I couldn't be arsed to read the whole article.
