Return to whose normality?
UK Premier, Boris Johnson, has announced his plans for a significant return to normality
by Christmas.
Leaving aside the fact that the measures do not represent a return to normality
, at least as known before the pandemic—they instead represent the introduction of a new normality
, or a bastardised version of the old normality, depending on how you want to look at it—I really don't believe that BoJo
has any concept of what normality
is, at least not as it concerns the wider population. After all, he's not exactly a normal
person; and I don't mean that in an endearing way.
