We're not yet halfway through 2023, and already Mindspace Conferences are thinking ahead over a year to Traditional Medicine 2024. Talk about wishing our lives away. Then again, a visit to Milan is something to be looked forward to.
I've been invited to auspicious conferences on the subject of traditional medicine before, but only once was I invited to join the disorganising committee. It is indeed a great honour, particularly since this promises to be a precious event

, this time FoodSciNutCon2024. Or is it Food Science 2024? With less than a year to prepare, the disorganising committee really has its work cut out; and it needs to start by deciding what on earth the conference's going to be named. (SMH)
Since Jane Sloan used the same template, with the same linguistic idiosyncrasies, as Sarah Jane—hmmm, I think their name westerniser might be on the blink (thinking)—I feel it's reasonable for me to reuse my previous response. What's good for the goose, is good for the gander.

That was unexpected! Jane returns, and is anticipating my participation. She hasn't answered the most important question, regarding my budgeting for extracurricular activities

Jane thinks she has a live one, and is keen to get bums on seats; or at least registration fees paid. But it's all in my best interests, for the early bird discount period ends tomorrow. After then, the prices increase by $100, although I plan to save a lot more than that.
Here's the real stinger though: registration as a speaker is actually $100 more than for a standard delegate. Yet speakers are providing the content that's being sold. Often, speakers get a discount for this very reason.
