Two US retailers planning to sell so-called smart handguns, weapons that only fire for authorised users, have had to cancel their plans. The Oak Tree Gun Club in California faced pressure from customers and guns rights advocates, while Andy Raymond of Engage Armament even received death threats.

And the US constitution allows these people to bear arms. Scary!
