As more of England and Wales goes into the highest tier of COVID-19 restrictions, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Stephen Barclay, said there was a
common purpose here to get the virus down
so people could enjoy Christmas.
Presumably, this doesn't apply to those who've lost their jobs or loved ones, as a result of China's gift that just keeps on giving.
