Cringeworthy scenes in films
I don't know why, but last night I got to thinking about scenes in otherwise (half‑)decent films which really make you cringe. I'm not talking about films which are totally cringeworthy, just those that are otherwise okay.
Case in point, Under Siege. It's not a great film, but it's passably good fun. Especially Gary Busey and, ummm, Erika Eleniak. (embarrassed)
Except for the Admirals punching the air
scene at the end.
There are some things that gentlemen of a certain age should not do, and punching the air is one of them. A polite round of applause and a jolly good show
would've sufficed.
