Glam boxing
The Amateur International Boxing Association would like its female competitors to wear a skirt during international competitions. Because, as you know, it's more ladylike if you're wearing a skirt while you beat the shit out of someone.
AIBA asked boxers to trial the skirts, which they said would allow spectators to distinguish them from men
Jessica Creighton, Olympic sports reporter, BBC Sport
To allow spectators to distinguish the women from the men, really? Don't they have any idea of what matches they're attending? I realise that people who enjoy watching two fighters beating each other to a pulp probably aren't the sharpest knives in the draw, but c'mon!
According to British lightweight champion Natasha Jonas, The only people who would want to see women in skirts are men.
No, hun, men would prefer you to fight nekkid!
