Iron Fist
I recently happened across Marvel's Iron Fist on Netflix. I'd never heard of the character before, but I can only assume that the comic book version must've been way less irritating. Otherwise, he'd never have got his own show. Right?
Then again, Netflix is hardly a bastion of quality programming, eh kids?
O…M…G! Danny Rand is such a whiny, entitled little bitch. He's supposed to be a hero, and all he does is mither in self pity. Finn Jones always appears to be on the brink of tears. I really just want his arse to be kicked so badly. And I know it won't happen, which is why I can't watch anymore.
On the plus side, Jessica Henwick is definite eye-candy. And the scene in s01e09 when Harold Meachum totally lost his shit, killing his gormless assistant over ice cream, was funny. But, otherwise, not a recommend.
If only the honest trailer had been available before I wasted my time.
