I think I've soiled myself

Klaus

I watched Klaus last night with my eldest daughter. We both loved it.

As of yesterday, if you'd asked me for my favourite Christmas film, it would've been a toss-up between Scrooge (1951) and It's a Wonderful Life. Now, it’s a three-way tie.

9/10

Not that it necessarily means anything, but Klaus scores very highly on both Rotten Tomatoes and IMDb. Although this review, from Kevin M. W, who is apparently a super reviewer, didn't make a whole lot of sense.

…the ship owner is given note for the whole feature, but there's really no payoff for said character…

Kevin M. W, Klaus, Rotten Tomatoes

All of those words can be found within the English lexicon. But I think that this is the first time that I've seen them in that order. At least without other words to help them make sense.

Mogens plays the role of the guide, the knowledgeable outsider, who explains to the protagonist, and the audience, what's going on in Smeerensburg, and encourages Jesper in the right direction. I didn't think it was that difficult to comprehend. Then again, I'm not a super reviewer, so what the hell do I know?
