Hijab hysteria
The Taliban has banned women from working with non-governmental organisations, citing dress code violations. The UN has condemned the move as a contravention of fundamental human rights, while the US Secretary of State criticised it as devastating for the Afghan people

What both the UN and US seem to have overlooked is the fact that the Taliban doesn't give a toss about human rights, fundamental or otherwise. Or the Afghan people for that matter. All that went out the window when President 'Pa handed them the keys to the kingdom. Innit? (pipe)
